Moonshadow’s Daughter Tour with Exclusive #GuestPost #Review and #Giveaway

We are so stoked to host a tour stop for The Moonshadow’s Daughter- read on for exclusive goodies and a giveaway!

Exclusive Guest Post from Author Kaylie Newell!

Aimee Styles is our heroine in The Moonshadow’s Daughter. This book (Book Three of The

Wolfe Creek Series) is different , because the first two featured the guys’ stories. While Koda and

Zane’s significant others are strong, feisty, intelligent women, the Wolfe Brothers are really the

stars of the show in the first two books.

In this story, Aimee gets to shine in all her girly glory. She’s tough (as a werewolf she has to be)

but she’s also vulnerable, and emotionally she’s truly in need of saving.

I loved writing about Aimee because I think she’s a good mixture of strong and weak, which we all

have a tenancy to be in different areas of our lives. She’s got a killer mothering instinct (Jake, our

hero is a single dad, so this comes in super handy) and she’d go to the ends of the earth to

protect the ones she loves. But she’s also afraid of the unknown and doesn’t claim to have all the

answers. …She also loves junk food, her best friend, and chick flicks.

In short, Aimee Styles is a girls’ girl. But she can also hang with the guys, too human or

werewolf. As far as heroines go, I’d love to have someone like Aimee watching over me

Happy reading!

To the citizens of Wolfe Creek, Aimee Styles is dead. What they don’t know is she’s alive…and a werewolf. After she was bitten two years ago, Aimee isolated herself away from the town, determined to keep them safe. But all it takes is an icy winter evening—and an incredibly virulent flu—to interrupt her self-imposed exile.
Nothing prepared doctor and single dad Jake Blackstock for the sight of Wolfe Creek’s missing girl, or her delicate beauty. He’s instantly and fiercely attracted to her, despite her secrets and the shadows in her near-black eyes. Jake’s falling hard. He knows nothing about Aimee…or what she really is.
But something else lurks in Wolfe Creek’s shadows. Something malevolent. Something that won’t hesitate to rip apart their life and new love…

Mama’s Thoughts:

I floved this, and the funny thing is, it’s not the first book in the series but I still really enjoyed it on its own not having read any others.  There’s not too much repetition of past events, but enough to clue me in and not confuse me or make me feel totally lost.  Aimee is a fun gal, except for the paranoia and now sickness she’s trying to deal with….oh and the whole accidentally becoming a were thing, no big deal.  Jim was the old gentleman you almost always expect to be around in a werewolf tale and boy was he a hoot.  Then there’s hottie Dr. Dad, I mean Jake.  Mhm yes please.  You can nurse me back to health sir.  Secrets come back with a bite- literally.  Grab your copy of this fabulously hot shifter romantic mysterious tale today and enjoy!

About the author:
Kaylie Newell was born in the great state of Oregon, where she was raised alongside rivers and lakes and scruffy dogs that chased their tennis balls as far as Kaylie’s noodle arms could throw. As she grew, so did her imagination, and it didn’t take long to realize she was a romantic at heart. She began to fancy herself the future wife of a cowboy, the likes of which graced every paperback novel she could get her hands on. She decided to go to college in Oklahoma to snag herself one, but irony won over when she fell in love with a hippie in sheep’s clothing instead. Together, they came back to Oregon, started a family and watched their dreams unfold. Kaylie wrote her first book when her girls were toddlers, editing sex scenes with The Wiggles on in the background. She’s proud of many things in life, among them the fact that she can still recite her lines from Romeo and Juliet from her seventh grade play, the fact that she can set a grilled cheese sandwich on fire faster than most people can make one, but mostly she’s proud of the stories blossoming inside her noggin on a daily basis.
