He captured hearts and now he’s captured the spotlight.
Experience The Dreamcatcher, a novella comprised of scenes from The Dreamer told from Dev’s point of view, as well as seven extra scenes that did not appear in book one!
*This is a companion piece to The Dreamland Series and is to be read AFTER The Dreamer for story consistency and spoilers.
In no certain order: Ermahgerd! Swoon! What, no way! ok you get the idea. It’s been known that I am a tad bit of a fangirl for the The Dreamland series, and admittedly I’m a #DevHead too. This book completely solidifies Devlin’s place in the upper echelon of book boyfriends. He is much deeper than he wants people to think he is (as evidenced in The Divide) and has a tortured past that comes crashing into his present once Molly enters Terra and alters the course of his life forever. I love these two and how they pick on each other, despite the obvious attraction. And I must say, I’ve read several alternate pov novels and novellas now, but very few manage to bridge the gap between strictly rehashing scenes and actually adding something to the story as successfully as this. While The Dreamcatcher is all on its own enjoyable, you will need to read The Dreamer first or you’ll be missing some major things (who the heck is Jared? for example). I loved that this was a book for the reader, not for the quick passerby. It’s something to savor while waiting on the third book in the series *cough not that we’re impatient or anything* and something to deepen your appreciation of the fantastic world that Mellow’s created. If you haven’t read the series, start with the Dreamer, then Dreamcatcher, then Divide and you’ll have such an epic book hangover I fear for anything you try to read for a little while afterword.
